National Parks Malaysia is one of the most visited countries in the world. It is rich with natural heritages of which is made up of various national parks and tourist destinations. the most prominent one in Peninsular would be the Taman Negara National Park, known to house millions of years old of rainforest. In East Malaysia, the Kinabalu National Park is where the tallest peak in the country is, Mount Kinabalu while the Mulu National Park in Sarawak holds one of the oldest and largest caves in the world, the Mulu Caves. Other national parks in the country include the Bako National Park, the Endau Rompin National Park, and that Batang Ai National Park. Islands There are many islands in Malaysia, some of which are internationally renowned like Pulau Tioman, once known as the top 10 most beautiful islands in the world. Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang, Pulau Manukan are other famous attractions here. Highlands Highlands too are one of the major attractions in the country. Genting Highlands is one of the most regionally visited resorts. Known for its location as an entertainment city elevated in the hills of Pahang, Genting hosts an international casino, amusement parks, an entertainment arena as well as the world’s biggest hotel, the First World Hotel. Cameron Highlands is a less commercial holiday destination where one can discover the flora and fauna in its richest selves. Tea plantation, flower gardens and strawberry parks are its main attraction here. |
